  • Stephen Zagami

    Steve brings 10 years’ experience to VPS, working in law firms as a corporate paralegal on a wide range of corporate matters, including specializing in corporate and transactional services, including financing, formation, dissolution, and mergers as well as entity management including stock cap tables and compliance management. As a former Middlesex Probate and Family Court Sessions Clerk, Stephen also has significant Trust and Estate experience. Stephen delivers cost-effective services to VPS clients while providing an effective approach to help achieve their business objectives. Before joining VPS, Stephen spent eight years as a corporate paralegal for Gesmer Updegrove LLP in Boston. Stephen received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts and his Paralegal Certification from Northeastern University. When not working for VPS clients, Stephen has many personal interests and hobbies, including reading, traveling and being with his family. Stephen is a lifelong resident of Massachusetts where he resides with his wife and two children.

  • Sunshine Liumanni
    Sunshine brings over 15 years’ experience to VPS, working in New York and Boston law firms as docketing clerk and paralegal for Patent and Trademark matters. She has significant knowledge of prosecution procedures for both Patent and Trademark applications, including filing applications, preparing and filing responses to PTO actions, and maintaining docketing calendars for responses and deadlines for pending and issued Patents and Trademarks. Sunshine spent several years working at IP firms Kenyon and Kenyon and Baker Botts in New York City. After relocating to Massachusetts, she spent four years working at Gesmer Updegrove in Boston. At Gesmer Updegrove, she maintained the docketing database and files, while working closely with Patent and Trademark attorneys for preparing, reviewing and filing various PTO documents, work with clients in connection with their IP holdings and reviewing client portfolios for various mergers and acquisitions. Sunshine received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY.

    Kathy brings over 18 years experience to VPS working on a wide range of sophisticated securities matters and has been involved in every aspect of public and private securities-related matters. For over three years, Kathy has delivered cost-effective securities services to VPS clients while providing a pragmatic goal-oriented approach and effectively partnering with each of our clients to achieve their securities and business objectives. Before joining VPS, Kathy was a Securities/Corporate paralegal for Proskauer Rose LLP and Atlas, Pearlman in Florida. Kathy began her Paralegal career working for the head of the Securities Department for over 11 years at two large St. Louis law firms. Kathy received her Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science and Paralegal Certification from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.When not working for VPS clients, Kathy has many personal interests and hobbies, including volunteering, gardening, traveling and being with family. She has been a resident of the Atlanta community for over 10 years where she resides with her three children.

    Allie brings over 10 years’ experience to VPS coordinating high volume venture capital transactions including blue sky research and filings, SEC registrations. She brings extensive experience administering stock option plans including calculating, vesting, processing grants and exercises. In addition to her extensive corporate experience, Allie also had extensive experience in commercial real estate and trust & estates. Allie holds BA from Corcordia University and a JD from Chapman University School of Law. Prior to joining VPS, Allie was a Corporate Paralegal at Gunderson Dettmer in Redwood City, CA, Weinstock Manion in LA and Copenbarger & Voorhees in Irvine, CA.

  • Kristy Achey

    Kristy brings more than 12 years of paralegal experience to VPS, beginning as the records clerk of a small plaintiff’s firm in Wichita, Kansas. She has worked as a paralegal at law firms in both Texas and Kansas and has developed extensive litigation experience in areas such as employment law, insurance defense, oil and gas, family law, real estate and probate. She gained additional experience and knowledge most recently as the Director of Human Resources for a large franchisee in the restaurant industry. Kristy earned her Paralegal Certificate from the University of North Texas, graduated from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas with a BS in Human Resources, and obtained her Certified Paralegal Designation from the NALA in 2009 and went on to earn the Advanced Paralegal Certification in Contract Management from the NALA in 2012.

    Melanie has 20 years’ experience working as a Corporate Paralegal dealing in simple to complex corporate matters including entity formations, dissolutions, conversions, entity management, corporate governance, financing, and mergers and acquisitions. Melanie is a graduate of Quinsigamond Community College where she received her A.S. in business studies and Northeastern University where she received her Certification as a Paralegal. Melanie is a member of the Central Massachusetts Paralegal Association where she served as past Treasurer and Membership Director. Melanie builds strong client relationships and provides a fast response to each client’s needs. She is a lifelong resident of Massachusetts who enjoys travel, gardening, and spending time with her family.

    Lisa has more than 10 years’ experience in Trusts and Estates. Lisa has extensive knowledge in estate administration from probate through preparation of inheritance tax returns to first and final accounts and agreements. Couple her vast estate and trust administration experience with a background in tax preparation, real estate, bankruptcy law, estate planning, corporate law and you will have a wealth of information to assist with your legal matters. She has assisted many of our clients through the probate process in various states. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania and her Paralegal Certification from Penn State. Lisa lives in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania which is just outside of Philadelphia. She is married with three children.

  • Jamie Donnelly

    Jamie has over 7 years’ experience as a paralegal in litigation and bankruptcy. She worked as a litigation paralegal at Early Ludwick and Sweeney in New Haven, CT in personal injury and environmental litigation and eventually moved on to bankruptcy. She worked for the US Bankruptcy Trustee of Vermont. Jamie was the lead paralegal for more than 1,000 chapter 13 cases, managing cases from start to finish. She worked with attorneys, debtors, and court personnel to resolve issues with cases including completing and reviewing the petition, filing and reviewing claims, objections and motions, and monitoring any associated AP cases. Jamie received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Northern State University and her paralegal certification from the Denver Paralegal School. Jamie enjoys working with clients from all over the US from the comfort of her home in St. Croix, USVI. She loves to sail, paint, and enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband.

  • Nate Bartz

    Nate brings 5 years of regulatory experience in the field of product manufacturing and distribution. This includes compliance with state and federal regulations in the areas of manufacturing practices, product handling, product safety/efficacy, and product labeling/marketing. Nate has worked with many state, federal, and international regulatory agencies, as well as industry and consumer groups in addressing compliance issues. Nate also assists industry representatives in preventing the distribution of adulterated/misbranded products in order to maintain the integrity of those industries and facilitate trade. Nate received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Edgewood College in Madison, WI, where he was born and continues to live today. Nate is an avid sportsman and also enjoys volleyball, cooking and trivia.
