• Checking the name availability in the target state(s).
  
  
• Present solutions to resolve any name conflicts.
  
  
• Draft (as appropriate to the particular entity):
  
  - Articles or certificate of authority or registration.
  
  - Draft director/manager consent (if preferred).
  
  
• Obtain good standing certificates (or required supporting documents) from the domestic state (as required by target state(s)).
  
  
• Coordinate signatures.
  
  
• File certificate of authority or registration.
  
  
• Prepare a foreign qualification summary sheet for easy reference and corporate maintenance.
